The General Education Program provides a general core of courses for all students, regardless of major. It is designed to prepare students for a workforce that demands intelligent team players, global thinkers, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners with excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The program will prepare individuals who are inquisitive, analytical, and creative in their everyday lives as well as their professional lives. The graduates will be keenly aware of the social, ethical, and political implications of what they do. The General Education core provides in depth exposure to a range of intellectual disciplines within the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics.
The Management Entrepreneurship and Technology Program (MET) is designed to combine intellectual growth with professional and job oriented training in the business world. The MET program will, through new teaching approaches and a variety of learning experiences, enable students to handle any problem in any situation with tact and confidence. The Program will facilitate the students’ abilities to work in various management environments, including their own businesses. Living in the technological age, the students will develop all of the technical skills necessary in today’s business world.
The Organizational Management and Leadership Program is designed for working professionals who have either completed an Associate degree or have partially completed a Bachelor’s degree. Students who have accumulated between 45 and 60 undergraduate credits with a GPA of at least 2.0 and have a minimum of two years work experience are eligible to apply. The program is an accelerated degree-completion program (18-24 months) that provides the skills and knowledge base to meet the challenges of the 21st century workplace.
