Morris Brown College is a private, liberal arts, four-year institution founded by members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.  The College is located in Atlanta, Georgia, often called “the fastest growing international city in the nation.”  With a population of over 3 million, metropolitan Atlanta provides college students with abundant advantages that enhance the college experience: access to rich educational resources, diverse social, cultural, and recreational opportunities, and many new and exciting career fields.

Situated on a 21-acre campus near downtown Atlanta, Morris Brown has eight academic buildings, five residence halls, a campus center, an athletic field and stadium complex, a recreational complex and gymnasium, a Cyberlab for students and a Community Cyber Center for Morris Brown College constituents and residents of the surrounding community. 

Morris Brown offers baccalaureate degree programs in 2 majors Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology (for traditional students) and Organizational Management and Leadership (for Adult Degree matriculants).  Morris Brown College’s Herndon Stadium, designed to seat 15,000 spectators, was the Field Hockey venue during the 1996 Summer Olympics and was dedicated to the College after the Games.  The other Olympic legacy Morris Brown received was The Art Gallery at Jordan Hall (now the Ruth Hall Hodges Art Gallery), which houses art of prominent African American artists. Our modern technology initiatives, combined with scientific research and advanced career training, bolster a strong liberal arts curriculum delivered by dedicated faculty in small classroom settings.  

Morris Brown has graduated thousands of alumni who are leaders in government, education, business, technical fields and the professions. A Pulitzer Prize-winning author, pilots, journalists, bank presidents, chemists, actors, doctors, government officials and professional athletes, all are among our graduates.
