Situated on a 21-acre campus near downtown Atlanta, Morris Brown has eight academic buildings, five residence halls, a campus center, an athletic field and stadium complex, a recreational complex and gymnasium, a Cyberlab for students and a Community Cyber Center for Morris Brown College constituents and residents of the surrounding community. Morris Brown offers baccalaureate degree programs in more than 30 majors. Morris Brown College’s Herndon Stadium, designed to seat 15,000 spectators, was the Field Hockey venue during the 1996 Summer Olympics and was dedicated to the College after the Games. The other Olympic legacy Morris Brown received was The Art Gallery at Jordan Hall (now the Ruth Hall Hodges Art Gallery), which houses art of prominent African American artists. Our modern technology initiatives, combined with scientific research and advanced career training, bolster a strong liberal arts curriculum delivered by dedicated faculty in small classroom settings.
